' EXHIBIT "E"
' RECLAMATION PLAN
' At this time the applicant feels that rirung and reclamation operations will
be complete during 1986-1987. At that time, the applicant expects the area
' to serve as residential home sites.
The total mined area amounts to approximately 50 acres. The process area
will contain approximately 2 acres. The process area will be mined.
Cut slopes in the mi~ied area will be graded at a ratio of ?:1 (horizontal
vs vertical) or less. All eadsting trash, including brush, slash and all other
' refuse, will be hauled away.
Stockpiled native overburden will be spread on sloped areas as required
to a uniform depth until stockpiled supplies are ex] gusted.
A)1 sloped areas will be reseeded as recommended by the staff of the
' Mined Land Reclamation Board.
If required, seeded areas will be cultivated prior to planting and fertilized
at a rate specified by the Soil Conserva~ion Service.
' At this time the applicant plans to mine phases one thru five and the
process area. Seeding and revegetation efforts will begin within two years after
each phase has been mined out. Cut slopes will be graded as pre~zously
mentioned concurrently with mining operations.
' In order to prevent soil erosion, all stock piles will be graded and contoured
to minimize potential damage from storm runoff. The applicant does not intend
to disturb any natural dr;rinage patterns during the mining effort.
1 Revegetation of the ~iffected land will be carried out under the recommendations
of the Colorado ~Iined Land Reclamation Board.

1
