Also enclosed, are tcao <br />letters which were sent along with copies of this application to <br />Mr, Paul E. Williamson of the Dtonitoring Enforcement Section of <br />the Water Quality Control Division, and to Mr. Rob Walline of the <br />Water Quality Division of the U. S. Environmental Protection Agency. <br />7n addition to the preparation plant ponds mentioned in the <br />application, 47estern Slope Carbon, Inc. intends to constnlct <br />sedirr~ntation ponds at the East and test mine yards and the coal <br />storage yard. While the locations and design of these ponds have <br />not been finalized, they will meet all requirements of the O.S.M. <br />and our current N.P.D.E.S. permit. Western Slope Carbon, Inc. is <br />currently in the process of engaging a registered professional <br />engineer to design and certify these ponds. <br />Please contact me if you have any questions. If further pernlits are <br />required, please send the appropriate forms.
