NORTHWEST COLORADO CONSIjLTANTS, INC. <br /> <br /> <br />Project: Haul Road Y-A <br />Location: Hayden, Colorado <br />Client: Seneca Coal Company <br />Work Performed: <br />Project No.: 95-2384 <br />Report No.: 30 <br />Date: 9/27/95 <br />Time: 1.5 <br />Mileage: 22 <br />Engr.lTech: JK <br />As requested, we visited the project site on this date and conducted nuclear density test No.'s 68 through 70 on <br />the material being placed for subgrade fill. <br />At the time of our visit, the contractor was placing and compacting on-site borrow material from Sta. 114+00 to <br />Sta. 1.19+50. <br />Remarks: <br />The material tested generally met project specifications with moisture contents being from 3.5% to 2.6% below <br />optimum. The contractor was advised that additional moisture could be added to achieve compaction with less <br />effort. <br />Verbal Discussions: <br />Chuck McCulloh of Seneca Coal Company was notified of today's test results. <br /> <br />
