Dept. of Natural Resn~~rces
HAND DELIVERED
Re: Conditional Use Permit Application for Bunn Ranch Gravel Pit
Gentlemen:
Reference is made to your letter of April 22, 1980. We have
been advised that our timely application has been restored to the May
5th Planning Commission meeting agenda and will be present.
Our position in regard to this matter can be summarized as
follows:
1. This application was timely submitted following what we
then believed and now continue to believe was in accordance with your
regulations. In this application, we followed exactly the same
procedure as we have followed for other applications in the past and
previously no fault has been found by your office or by the Board,
either with the procedure, the applications, or their later
implementation by our Company.
2. As you are aware, the process of obtaining a permit from
the Mined Land Board requires first that we obtain local approval of
the use of the area for a sand and gravel pit. Thereafter, we can
prepare the application to the Mined Land Board, which application is
accompanied by maps and other documentation. During the permitting
process, much input is received from the Mined Land Board and, often,
such things as mining plans and reclamation plans are adjusted, based
on their requirements.
GENERAL CONTRACTORS • ELECTRICAL CONTRACTORS • CRAIG SAND AND GRAVEL • BUTLERBUILDER
