Canany <br />Division Director <br />Natural Resource Trustee <br />The Division of Minerals and Geology has received your application for the King Pit 110 (c) Permit. <br />Listed below aze the Division's adequacy review comments for this application. The Division is required <br />to make a decision no later than June 18, 2004; therefore, your response to the following adequacy review <br />concerns should be received by the Division by June 16, 2004 to give us time to evaluate your responses. <br />1. Exhibit D -Reclamation Plan <br />Under Exhibit D, c), the applicant states that "A seeding recommendation from the Washington County <br />NRCS is being obtained and will be the basis of the reclamation plan. A copy of that recommendation <br />will be forwarded upon receipt " As of the date of this letter the Division has not received a copy of <br />the recommendation. As discussed with you by phone on June 11, 2004, the Division will accept the <br />plan and seed mix recommended by the Washington County NRC5 for the Washington County Starlin <br />Pit Permit No. M-2004-021, if this is acceptable to the applicant. <br />2. Weed Control Plan <br />Rule 3.1.10 (6) of the Minerals Rules and Regulations requires the use of weed control measures under <br />certain conditions. Please provide the Division with an appropriate weed control plan for this site. <br />3. As noted in the Division's May 19, 2004 "Receipt of Application" letter sent to Mr. King and ccd to <br />you, "You must submit proof of the notice and mailings....... to the Division of Minerals and Geology <br />prior to the decision date." <br />4. A cost estimate has been prepared for the reclamation bond.
