The county road will be monitored and maintained to repair any cracks that could create a safety <br /> hazard or delay traffic whenever coal is extracted underneath the road. <br />' 4.2.5 Mlnlny Sequence Mining sequence is shown in Plates 7 and 8. During 1997 all of LW10 <br /> in the D Seam will be mined out and gateroad 3W will be completed. D to B Access will be driven <br /> to the northwest about 2400 feet through both ramps 1 and 2. Also during 1997, the B Portal and <br /> slope will be driven from the surface and the 3 entry access wiN be developed from the B Portal <br /> slope bottom to the D to B Access. During 1998, all of panel LW11 and about 1200 feet of LW12 <br />1 in the D Seam will be mined out. In 1998, the D to B Access mains will be completed (1800 feet) <br /> with development of Ramp 3 and 2000 feet of B Mains will be developed. The first gateroad, 1 W-B, <br />' will also be driven about 3800 feet. In 1999, panel LW12 in the D Seam will be mined out and <br />mining shifted to the B Seam. In the B Seam during 1999, gateroads iW-B and 2W-B will be <br /> completed and longwall mining will recover about 900 feet of LW-1 B. The B Mains will be driven <br /> 2700 in 1999 to the intersection of the B North submains. <br /> During the period 2000 to 2004, gateroads 3W-B through 5W08 will be completed and 4000 feet <br /> of 6W-B developed. Longwall panels LW-1 B through LW-3B will be mined out as will 4,400 feet <br /> of LW-4B. B North submains will be driven just inbye gateroad 6W-B. <br /> During the years of 2005 through 2009, all of LW-4B, LW-5B, LW-6B and 2000 feet of LW-7B will <br /> be mined out. Gateroads 6W-B 7W-B and 8W-B will be mined out. During this period, B East <br /> submains will be developed through the incline ramp (Ramp 5) to D Seam and the intersection with <br /> NW D Mains. Gateroads 4W, SW, 6W and 7W in the D Seam will be developed as will gateroad <br />t 1 E-B. <br /> The period 2010 through 2014 will include the longwall mining of LW7-B to completion and the <br />' longwall mining of LW-13, LW-14 and LW-15 in the D Seam. RP-1 B, RP-28, RP-38, RP-48 will <br /> be mined out. B south submains will be developed through ramp 4 and to its terminus. <br />During the years 2015 through 2017, all of longwall panel LW-8B will be mined out. RP-5B and <br />RP-68 will be mined out. Room and pillar panel RP-3 in the D Seam will be mined out as will the <br />' remaining coal in RP-1 of the D Seam. The RP-1 coal will be hauled to surface and then hauled <br />to the plant site by truck for washing or bypass. The Deserado Mine, based on the existing leases <br />and projected production rate, will be complete in the year 2017. Mining past 2017 at the Deserado <br />' Mine could continue if adjacent portions of the Prairie Dog Lease Tract are leased. <br />4.2.6 Production Rate The current estimate of the production rate is given in Table 4-3.
