COY.: <br />T7u s is to cronEirm Our telephone conversation on lrcrmber 4, <br />1980, concerning the partial modification of cert,iin parameters <br />for analysis listed on the enclosure to your November 20, 1980, <br />letter addressed to Dave Stout of our office. <br />A sulrmary of these points is as follwls: <br />1) Plycming Fuel CrnTpany must have at least one overburden <br />sampling location which penetrates the entire strati- <br />grapluc section to be mined (including upper sedim(~s}ts <br />falling within the Fliglraall "lay-Back" Pegion) which <br />analyzes all parameters listed on the above-referenced <br />letter for all lithologic intervals within the salltpling <br />location. 'This satpling location may be either one of <br />the new salrq~ling sites or it may be an updated analysis <br />of the previously tested site (due to its adjacent <br />location on the present 90-acre lease block). <br />2) Cm all Other test sites it will be sufficient to analyze <br />evert paralreter except the toxic heavy metals list for all <br />lithologies except those which are carbonaceous in nature <br />or that lie immediately above or immediately Uelo.~ the <br />coal seam to be extracted. For these zones it will be <br />necessaLy to include analyses for the toxic heavy metals. <br />3) The parameter of Vanadium is to be included in the list <br />of toxic heavy metals. <br /> <br />
