' RECLAMATION STANDARDS
' Backfilling and grading will create a topography that is compatible with
the final land use.
This operation will have no drill holes or auger holes that remain after
reclamation. All adits, shafts and stopes that are encountered during mining
' will be backfilled.
' There are to be no earthen dams.
No toxic or acid-forming material will be encountered or used in this
operation.
All refuse will be disposed by hauling it away or by burying it in the
backfill area so that unsightliness and deleterious effects will be controlled.
' Overburden and soil removal and storage are discussed in Exhibit D.
The non-soil overburden will be returned to the preceding stage to establish
' the planned contour. Crushed rock and clay will be respread to a depth 3 to S
inches before revegetation of the area is begun.
It is not expected that there will be any disturbance to the prevailing
' hydrologic balance of the affected land or of the surrounding area. This is
essentially a dry operation with no disturbance to either surface or ground
twater systems during or after reclamation.
Lands off the site will not be affected in any foreseeable way by slides ,
' runoff, erosion, or any other function of the mining or reclamation operations.
All land area of the affected land will be stabilized through revegetation
to control erosion and air and water pollution.
' The operator believes the reclamation plan will have no significant impact
on remaining habitat for non-critical wildlife (see Exhibit II) .
1
