Commissioner Y/;':' ~/-<. _ sacor,ded <br />the motion. <br />WSSEREAS, an application of a conditional use review <br />requesting a grave:L pit for the extraction of sand and gravel has <br />been received together with certain attachments and exhibits as <br />required by Article 3 of the Alamosa County Zoning Regulations, <br />1975, as amended, t:he gravel pit to be located upon the following <br />property: <br />N1;Ld;SEy of Section 36, Township 38 North, Range 10 East, <br />N.P1.P.P1 <br />said property beincj zoned Rural (RU) District; and <br />K'[i GI(L AS, a pUU1ll. nCaL lllg was lice u' SJcrvr2 t.:2 Aia.^.1 :: CF., Co::.^.tf <br />Planning Commission on July 20, 1983, upor. proper notice, and <br />thereafter the Plar..ning Commission recommended acceptance of the <br />conditional use herein to the Board of County Commissioners of <br />Alamosa County, upon certain conditions; and <br />WHEREAS, a public hearing was held before the Board of <br />County Commissioners on August 25, 1983, at 9:00 A.M., at which <br />time the applicant appeared by and through P1 r. Ward Mathias and <br />Mr. Tom Mathias; and <br />47f1EREAf,', testimony in support of the conditional use was <br />presented; and <br />WHEREAS, no one spoke in opposition to said application; and <br />WHEREAS, the Etoard of County Commissioners has considered <br />the application and the recommendation of the Planning <br />Commission, and finds it meets all the requirements of the <br />Alamosa County 7,o~ii.ng Regulations pertaining thereto and that the <br />operation of a gravel L.~t at this location is pecraitted as a <br /> <br />
