Resource - Sand and Gravel S'-i, Sec 12, T6N, R66W, Weld Co. <br />Name <br />#; <br />Wildlife Species list: <br />Deer, rabbits, skunk, raccoon, dove, pheasant, magpie, raptors, waterfowl and numerous <br />small mammals and seasonal songbirds. <br />Endangered/critical species/impacted: <br />No known threatened or endangered species <br />Critical. habitats/vegetative communities impacted: <br />NA <br />Assessment of impact: <br />This area is in a mix of residential/industrial development as well as some agriculture. <br />It is situated in a wedge shape between a railroad and a much traveled street, as a <br />result wildlife use is very much restricted. ' <br />i, <br />Mine Reclamation recoimuendations (include key species/habitats for which restoration <br />is designed). <br />and Location of Mine <br />We concur with the reclamation plan as stated in the application. The wildlife statement <br />indicates that it "does not propose to create wildlife habitat". This may be true <br />but it a.1so states that two lakes will be created with a total of 67.1 acres of water, <br />which wi.11 invariably attract waterfowl and shore birds.
