Simpson and written by
Stephen S. Hart. We regret that they are unaware of the site-
specific conditions of the ditches in question.
In 1955 the main pit on the south side of the ditches opened
the possibility of lateral drainage from the ditches to the
pit. However, no pit water problems have been noted, nor has
the ditch authority complained of water loss. Perhaps the
clays in this alluvium are affecting the ability of the alluvium
to pass water.
The north side setback from the ditch will be approximately
50 feet. We expect the conditions north of the ditches to be
nearly identical to those on the south side. Should lateral
drainage from the ditches occur on the north side, it is likely
that an effective clay seal could be applied.
We feel that these ditches were covered in Exhibit G on page 18.
Sincerely,
THE LAKEWOOD BRICK AND TILE COMPANY
LEO:cm mes R. bfurr y
c~• Fxoo cr
'~•~.
r°p
V _
6
1 1
f ~-
aplcn,', '-%
r .~.~i
MFM eE•S
