-12- •
Drell: There is something I think I left out here, there is an irrigation ditch
adjacent to the pit area, small irrigation ditch. Where is it?
Okay. ,The pit area...the irrigation-adjacent to the pit area
is fed by the Pine Lateral of the Florita canal and the pit also
lies above this ditch, not (at) considerable height above but it
i5 above the ditch.
Idard: He has rights from that ditch?
Drell: Yes, that is where the landowner's rights are from. I believe
his water rights are on the Salt Creek, which flows into the
Florita River east of the pit area. That's where his water rights
are available. If the use....
offsinger: Excuse me, Rade, he has water rights on both sides.
Drell: Does he? From the Pine Lateral, too?
offsinger: There is quite a bit more than 2 cubic feet per second. That's
the only one I brought as far as where we are going to get our
water to use.
Itindahl: Is that, are the rights for irrigation or (for) other use?
offsinger: I'm sure it's for irrigation.
Rindahl: This is a question Water Resources had, to insure that it would
be for irrigation.
