You requested this map for the purpose of <br />digitizing the amendment reclamation plan map. The base map is an old <br />print of the 1984 contour map used in the amendment, however, the <br />existing topography is much clearer. I do not why the permit maps did <br />not show the existing topography as clearly as this print did. I <br />suspect it must have had something to do with the reproduction process. <br />When working with this map, please keep in mind that the reclamation <br />topography is conceptual and was never intended to present the <br />topography EXACTLY as it would come out, just approximately as it would <br />come out. Also keep in mind that the upcoming amendment will alter <br />essentially every aspect of the reclamation topography plan approved in <br />1985 and shown in more detail on this map. In the amendment preparation <br />I will be sure the reclamation topography is shown in at least a 10 foot <br />contour interval. <br />R7e,~~jpe~ct~fully~, <br />Mark A.
