5 DT 65J--Levere Homestead
This historical archaeological resource consists of the site of
i the Levere Homestead which consisted of a log cabin and various
outbuildings. There are no standing Structures at this Site and more
historical research will be needed in order to make any statement about
its eligibility to the National Register. The site is said to be
associated with two Indians from Oklahoma and therefore may have some
particular ethnic ties which will have to be considered in making a
final evaluation.
5 DT 658--Walrod Place
This his Lorical archaeological resource is a farmstead associated
with fruit ranching. The visible components of the site suggest it may
be post-World War II in date. It is possible that earlier components
may exist but more detailed historicai research is needed in order to
make a final recommendation of eligibility for the National Register.
As it now stands, the resource has interesting archaeological possibilities
for the late period but may not be eligible for the National Register.
•

12
