Dear Mr. Auffrey:
Our Division has received and reviewed the seven performance warranties
for the above captioned Bent County sand and gravel operations. I found
all of these warranties to be satisfactory, with one minor exception.
The acreage on the legal description page of the performance warranty for
the U, S. Army Corps of Engineers Pit was given as 6.3 acres. I changed
this acreage to 6.6 acres, as per the permit application. Unless I hear
from you to the contrary, I will assume that this change meets vrith your
approval. With that change, all seven performance warranties are
satisfactory.
Therefore, enclosed please find two copies each of the signed permits for
these seven operations. Please have the Chairman of the Bent County
Commissioners sign each of the fourteen documents in the space indicated,
having his signature notarized in each case. Then retain one copy of
each permit for each pit and return the other seven to our office within
two weeks. This will complete the permitting process for these
operations.
Please be advised that, fur each of these operations, all of the original
application material submitted by you, as well as any subsequent adequacy
materials submitted in response to my questions, are considered an
inteyral part of the permit and are incorporated by reference. It is
presumed that you have a copy of these in aterials; therefore, no copies
are included in this mailing. Iiowever, if you need a copy of any of
these materials, let us know and one will be provided.
