New or temporary personnel and contractors working at the facility also
need to be trained in the SWMP procedures within two weeks of coming on site. Contractors
should be provided with a copy of the plan, as well as being informed that they are also liable for
the conditions set forth within the SWMP. Sample forms to document training activities aze
included.
4.6 Testing for Non-Stormwater Discharges
This site was evaluated for the presence of non-stormwater discharges during March of 1995.
The procedure used to evaluate the area for the presence ofnon-Stormwater dischazges consisted
of dry weather observations of the site. At that time there were no buildings or structures
associated with the potential mining operation at the site. There are no mine adits or shafts
known at this site, or associated with this operation, therefore, there is no mine drainage.
No naturally occurring springs have been identified at this site. There aze no spoils piles at this
site. No sanitary facilities aze currently located here. There currently aze no dewatering
dischazges at this site and no structural conveyance systems for the Stormwater discharges.
Potentia] discharge points observed included the perimeter of the site.
