JAQUEZ: This is one of the <br />sumps, the reservoirs, that are lined with the <br />rubber impermeable membrane. It has -- of course, <br />this is now quite a few years later. It hees all <br />kinds of vegetation growing in it, and you will see <br />that there are tracks of wildlife throughout this <br />whole area (indicating). <br />(Next slide.) <br />MR. JAQUEZ: This is a section of <br />that rubber-coated pond. Leaks were fixed by <br />putting patches on them like this (indicati~.ng), and <br />what we are afraid of is that cyanide solution runs <br />under these areas and then underground, and that is <br />what was happening at Rito Seco and really we don't <br />know if it's still happening right now. <br />(Next slide.) <br />MR.
