165 <br />. 1 <br />2 <br />3 <br />4 <br />5 <br />6 <br />7 <br />8 <br />9 <br />10 <br />11 <br />12 <br />• 13 <br />14 <br />15 <br />16 <br />17 <br />18 <br />19 <br />20 <br />• <br />21 <br />22 <br />23 <br />24 <br />25 <br />Iwe found out that this had been going on for thirty <br />lyears with the full knowledge of the State agency, <br />(the Colorado Department of Health, and the full <br />(knowledge of the Denver Water Board. <br />~ I worked with a community called <br />'Friendly Hills in Jefferson County where there are <br />16 children that have died that we know of to date <br />that have died from spinal cancers, brain cancers,, <br />other types of rare disorders in a very, very tiny <br />neighborhood that you can walk from one ends to the <br />other in a ten-minute time span. <br />Now, we are having three-year-olds <br />dying in Denver from now documented drinking water <br />contamination. <br />We also have plutonium in the water <br />supplies on the northwest section of Denver as a <br />result of numerous accidents that have occurred at <br />the Rocky Flats Nuclear Weapons Plant and ongoing <br />radiation. <br />We have the Schwartzwalder uranium <br />mine just west of Denver, again that has been <br />a source of radioactive contamination again to <br />municipal water supplies. <br />Now, we have been losing wateer <br />quality in Denver for many, many years and we <br />
