Please provide detailed information as to exactly when Andesite <br />Rock Company commenced operations at this site. You indicated in the <br />November 23rd response to MLRD item C-2 that the operator cleated a <br />number of roads in about 1973. Please note that Quarry Aggregate <br />operations were required to obtain a permit under the Colorado Upen <br />Mining Land Reclamation Act as of July 1, 1983. All disturbances created <br />by the operator since July 1, 1973 must be clearly identified and <br />included in the amendment document. <br />B. Exhibit A - Legal Description <br />1. Please submit a legal description for the proposed 54 acre. permit <br />area to the nearest quarter quarter section. <br />C. Exhibit C - Premining & 14ining Plan <br />1. It is the staffs understanding that as an area is mined out, <br />reclamation will commence prior to commencing operations in the next area <br />of activity.
