~~ • ~~ <br />M-99-011 Response to Reclamation Permit Application Consideration <br />Further, the applicant states, "All drainage will [be] directed to the water re-use area of the permit area." <br />And the "settling ponds" described in the mining permit application sound like they will also serve as storm <br />water detention ponds, as onsite drainage will reportedly be collected and transported to them. If stormwater <br />runoff is intercepted by this operation, and this water is not diverted or captured in priority, it must be <br />released to the stream system within three days. This may require a discharge permit from CDPHE-WQCD. <br />Otherwise the operator will need to obtain a permit to appropriate water for such replacements or augment <br />the depletions. <br />The applicant may contact the State Engineer's Office with any questions. <br />~311~S~9y <br />
