EXHIBIT L—Reclamation Cost
1. Reclamation Costs: After a period of4 to 5,Years the site will have reached a point of
maximum disturbance and final reclamation activities will commence. It is estimated that a
total of three weeks w ill be required for the final reclamation of the site. Approximately 100
hours of bulldozer time will be required to establish the 3:1 slopes, remove and incorporate
haul road and ramp areas, provide a final grade and place topsoil. An additional week is
estimated for seedbed preparation and seeding. Total reclamation costs are as follows:
Bulldozer (incl. Mob) - 100 hours @ 130/hour = $13,000.00
Tractor (with disc) - 40 hours @ 95/hour = $3800.00
Tractor(with seed drill) - 30 hours @ 90/hour = $2700.00
Seed Mix - 144.4 PLS for 38 acres = $ 815.00
Compost material - 100/ac for 38 acres = $ 3800.00
Compost application 10 hrs- Tractor&spreader 110/hr— S 1100.00
Total = S 25,215.00
Contingency Cost 18.5% = $4665
Administrative Costs 5% = S 1494
Total estimated reclamation cost = S31,374.00
This cost estimate includes fuel, mobilization, operator and associated labor.
Find attached USDA recommended seed mix, seed mix cost estimate and USDA Reclamation
Standards and Specifications/Technical Guidelines. It is anticipated that there will be
concurrent reclamation activities carried out on portions of the site as operationally feasible.
With concurrent reclamation activities, the total reclamation costs will be less than that
estimated above.
