RECEIVING STREAM: <br />A. Identification, Classification, and Numeric Standards <br />1. Identification: The Maitland Arroyo, then the Cordon Arroyo <br />and then tha Cucharas River; Maitland and <br />Gordon Arroyos are classified under Segment <br />4 as tributaries to the Arkansas River in <br />the Middle Arkansas River Sub-basin, <br />Arkansas River Basin <br />2. Classification: Recreation, Class 2 <br />Aquatic Life, Class 2 (Warm) <br />Agricultural Use <br />3. Numeric Standards: The standards which have been assigned in <br />accordance with the above classifications <br />• can be found in 3.2.0 Classification and <br />Numeric Standards for the Arkansas River <br />Basin (5 CCR 1002-8), as amended September <br />30, 1991. It should be noted that this <br />facility does not discharge pollutants <br />which are limited by water quality <br />standards with the exception of pH. <br />B. Receiving Water Data <br />1. Stream Low Flow; Not Applicable; effluent limitations are not flow <br />based. <br />IV. FACILITY INFORMATION: <br />Because the mined area has been reclaimed, the facility consists of an <br />interceptor ditch and two sediment ponds. The firs t, pond has a volume of <br />9.5 acre-feet, the second pond has a volume of 12.3 acre-feet. <br />V. ANTIDEGRADATION: <br />These are not reviewable waters pursuant to Section 3.1.8(3)(a) of the <br />Basic Standards and Methodologies for Surface Water (SCCR 1002-2), based <br />on a finding of no increased water quality impact. <br /> <br />
