The sealing of Parcel B is considered <br />desirable in maintaining the higher water level. If the sealing <br />process described herein is found to be inadequate, then mechani- <br />cal sealing may be undertaken in order to maintain desired water <br />surface elevations. <br />Therefore, in summation the estimated ten-foot differential <br />in water levels in the two pits will be a result of the sealing <br />effect of the fines along the perimeter of parcel B and this <br />sealing effect will be concentrated along the northwest perimeter <br />of that parcel in the area of the major ground water flow between <br />those parcels. <br />JLJ/la <br />Sincerely, <br />BLATCHLEY ASSOCIATES, INC. <br />~~J<~ <br />J mes L.
