Where grazing occurs on reclaimed and adjacent lands under control during the <br />liability period; azea to be grazed, proper stocking rates, and grazing periods will be specified to the <br />grazing lessee. This information will be based on vegetation production data from monitoring <br />studies, size of pasture units, and management needs such as rest or grazing deferments. Any interim <br />fencing will be established towazds the need for special management or consideration of the ongoing <br />mining operation. The permit azea will be fenced to exclude livestock and access to non-mine <br />personnel. However, upon completion of operations and reclamation activities, permanent fencing <br />will be emplaced as soon as possible. The final fencing patterns will approximate pre*r++r•+*+g patterns <br />or current property owner boundaries at the time in order to restore the pretnining pasture units. <br />Stock ponds removed by mining will be replaced in the posttt»ning landscape either as close to the <br />original location as practicable or in locations to improve management. Additional stock ponds may <br />be constructed in drainages to stabilize the landscape and provide additional water.
