We
understand Fills 1, 2 and 3 need to 6e added to the Phase I analysis. To
analyze these fills, we performed the following:
1. Visited each fill site to assess soil, bedrock and surface conditions, and
Classified the fills with respect to volume and slopes and also geometry, to
confirm the previous parametric stability analysis is valid for these fills.
Summary
Our investigation and analysis indicate the proposed location and
configurations of Fills 1, 2 and 3 result in stable fill meeting Colorado Division of
Minerals and Geology (CDMG) requirements. Design and construction
recommendations in our previous report remain valid. Keyways are not required for
these fills. Drains are required as discussed below.:
Fill Characteristics
The fills are relatively small (<0.2 Mcy). Geometric criteria such as height,
proposed outslopes, benches, base slope, etc. are within the limits of our previous
stability analysis. Fill characteristics are summarized below.
~,~-~ j
~#t' n eo~L~
/~7, I~ 5~~;~'-~~
i,,,l i~C~•~~S~kS
CTL/THOMPSON, INC. ~/
CONSULTING ENGINEERS z'~/~~[ST
1971 WEST 12TH AVENUE ~ DENVER, COLORADO 80204 ~ (303) 825-0777 ~ p S
