The permittee shall protect the scenic esthetic values of the <br />area Linder this permit and the adjacent land, as far as possible <br />with the authorized use, during operation and maintenance of the <br />improvements. <br />25. Tlie permittee shall be responsible for the prevention and con- <br />trol of soil erosion and gullying on lands covered by this permit <br />and adjacent thereto, resulting from the maintenance of the authoirzed <br />use. He shall so maintain his improvements to avoid the accumulation <br />of excessive heads of water and to avoid encroachment on streams. He <br />shall revegetate all ground where tine soil has been exposed and shall <br />construct and maintain water bars, lead-off ditches or other preven- <br />tative works that may be required to accomplish this result as pre- <br />scribed by the District Ranger. <br />26. Nothing in this permit shall be construed to imply permission <br />to build or maintain any structure not specifically named on the <br />face of this permit or approved by the Forest Service in the form <br />of a ne~a permit or permit amendment. <br />27. The permittee agrees to permit the free and unrestricted access <br />to and upon the premises at all times for all lawful and proper pur- <br />poses not inconsistent with the intent of the permit or with the <br />reasonable exercise and enjoyment by the permittee of the privileges <br />thereof. <br />28. This permit is granted with the express understanding that should <br />future location of Government improvements or road rights-of-way re- <br />quire the relocation of the permittee's improvements, such relocation <br />will be done by the permittee at his expense within sixty (60) days <br />following request to relocate. <br />29. This permit shall not be exclusive. The Forest Service reserves <br />the right to use or permit others to use any part of the permitted <br />area for any purpose, provided such use does not interfere with the <br />rights and privileges Hereby aut}orized. <br />30. Tliis permit confers no rights upon the permit tee to the use of <br />the water involved; such rights must be obtained under state law. <br />31. Unless sooner terminated or revoked by the Regional Forester in <br />accordance with the provisions of the permit, this permit shall expire <br />and become void on December 31, 1976, but a new pei~nit to occupy and <br />use the same National Forest land may be granted provided the permittee <br />will comply with the then existing laws and regulations governing <br />the occupancy and use of National Forest lands and shall have notified <br />the Forest Supervisor prior to the expiration of this permit that such <br />new permit is desired. Payment in response to a statement of assessed <br />fees for the permit shall be adequate notice of such desire. <br />
