Exhibit B - !fining Plan <br />1. Please specify the direction mining is to proceed and the depth of exca- <br />vation. <br />2. Please supply an approximate timotable for mining activities. <br />3. It ie not clearly stated that the overburden will be replaced to a depth <br />of 6 inches prior to the replacement of 6 inches of topsoil. Please clarify <br />this item for the record. <br />B. Exhibit C - Map <br />1. According to topsoil removal and replacement figures, only 1,400 cubic yards <br />of material will be stripped and stockpiled for later replacement. This ie <br />insufficient to replace 6 inches of topsoil over 7.11 acres. It vould take <br />approximately 5,730 cubic yards of topsoil to have enough to replace over <br />the site to a depth of 6 inches and likewise 5,730 cubic yards of overburden <br />erould need to be stockpiled to provide a replacement depth of 6 inches. <br />C. Exhibit D - Soils <br />1. Please supply a copy of the soil survey map shoving an outline of the affected <br />land and the s011 mapping unite. Without this map, the soils and vegetation <br />information ie not very helpful. <br />D. Exhibit E - Reclamation Plan <br />1. No mention is made for the replacement of 6 inches of overburden, please <br />clarify, <br />2. All cress of compaction should be ripped to a depth of 8 to 10 inches prior <br />to topsoil replacement to provide a favorable root growth and soil moisture <br />medium. <br />E. Public Notice <br />1. The legal notice published in the Canon City Da1Iy Record contain an incom- <br />plete legal description. This notice must be republished with the correct <br />legal description. <br />2. The landozmere of the site and ad3acent land must be renotified immediately <br />after the first publication vith a copy of the correct legal notice as <br />printod in the Canon City Daily Record. <br />
