We are applying <br />for a state mining/reclamation permit on this site and we need to know if this area has <br />any significant wildlife habitat or use. (The site is presently being farmed and croplands <br />have been a use for decades. No proposed disturbance will occur on-site within 400 <br />linear feet of the banks of the Arkansas River). . <br />A basic legal description is as follows: - <br />Part of Section 13, Section 14, Township 23 South, Range 43 West; part of <br />Sections 17 and 18, Township 23 South, Range 42 West, which approximates <br />1100 acres. (this acreage is located between the Atchinson Topeka 8~ Santa Fe <br />Railroad and the Arkansas River). <br />Enclosed is a Mined Land wildlife questionnaire, a preliminary map of operations, and a <br />site location map taken from a U.S.G.S. quad map (Holly West Quad). <br />Any information you can provide us would be appreciated.
