- New <br />Permit No. CO-0036684 <br /> <br />County: ROUTT <br />AUTHORIZATION TO DISCHARGE UNDER THE <br />NATIONAL POLLUTANT DISCHARGE ELIMINATION SYSTEM <br />1n compliance with the provisions of the Federal Water Pollution Control <br />Act, as amended (33 U.S.C. 1251 et. seq.; the "Act"), and the Colorado Water <br />Quality Control Act (25-8-101 et. seq., CRS, 1973 as amended) <br />T~.°en:~:mile Coal Company <br />is authorized to discharge from Twentymile Mine, <br />located in Sections 21, 22, 27, 28, 33 and 34, Township 6 North, Range 86 West, <br />several miles south of Milner, Colorado, <br />to Milner Spring .Creek, an unnamed tributary of the Yampa River, Elk Creek, and <br />an unnamed tributary of Fish Creek, <br />in accordance with effluent limitations, monitoring requirements and other <br />conditions set forth in Part I, Il, and III hereof. <br />This perm; shal] become effective thirty (30) days after the date of <br />• receipt of this permit by the Applicant. Should the Applicant choose to <br />contest any of the effluent limitations, monitoring requirements or other <br />conditions contained herein, he must comply with Section 24-4-104 CRS 1573 <br />and the Regula:i.ons for the State Discharge Permit System. Failure to <br />contest any such effluent limitations, monitoring requirement, or other <br />condition is consent to the condition by the Applicant. <br />This permit and the authorization to discharge shall expire a[ midnight, <br />September 30, 1989. <br />Sicned this_~ ~ day of ~ti~, ~;~'~,.
