Both companies are subsidiaries of Getty Mining Company. <br />2) The transfer of discharge point ;1014 from Colorado Yampa Coal Company <br />permit number CO-0027154 to the new designation as discharge point b`001 in <br />this permit. The discharge point is from a sediment pond for control of <br />• surface runoff at the Fish Creek Tipple. <br />3) Current technolog}• based effluent limitations are being imposed. Tipple <br />wash water is disposed of into the sediment pond but it is such a small <br />quantity that i[ evaporates and does not discharge. <br />4) The permit expiration date is being extended to September 30, 1989. <br />The outfall of the sediment pond shall be discharge point 001. The location <br />of 001 is shown in Figure 1 in the permit. <br />Federal Technology based effluent limitations based on Best Available <br />Technology Economicall}• Achievable (BAT) shall be incorporated into this <br />permit. Under BAT any one of three separate sets of effluent limitations can <br />be applicable. One set of limits is applicable to discharges during periods <br />o_° dry weather. Another set is applicable to discharges during storm events <br />up to the 10 year-24 hour event and the final set is applicable [o discharges <br />in excess of the 10 year-24 hour event. <br />r 1 <br />LJ <br />
