are eligible.
~l ?1MITED IMPACT OPERATIONS must disturb Less than ten acres (i ncl ding a1I roads,
stockpile areas and any other surface facilities) over the life f the mine, and
must extract LESS THAN 70,000 tons of mineral, overburden or co 'nation thereof
per calendar year. If the affected area is sore fraction greate than nine acres,
be sure NOT to round this figure un to ten acres in the narrativ s or elsewhere.
SPECIP.L (ten-day processing) operations are any sand, gravel, or quarry aggregates
operations which are to be operated for the sole purpose of obta Wing materials
for highway, road, utility, or similar-type construction under a Federal, :state,
county, city, town, or special district contract where the contr ct calls ~'or work
to be commenced within a specifically short time and whit.*. will ffect ten acres
or less (including all roads, stockpile areas, and any other sur ace facilities).
