<br />EXHIBIT H -WILDLIFE INFORMATION <br /> <br />Farming has significantly disturbed the wildlife habitat on the property. Review of <br />wildlife data for this area does not show any critical habitats for the Stegner <br />property. Preble's Meadow Jumping Mouse (a federally protected species) <br />habitat is not present. The mouse requires wet, grassy meadows and dense <br />riparian vegetative cover, usually within 100 feet of the stream. <br />There will be some loss of habitat and displacement of animals during mining but <br />suitable similar habitat exists all around the property. Reclaiming the mine area <br />as ponds with native grasses planted on the perimeter areas of the ponds will <br />greatly improve wildlife habitat. <br />Based on a search of the Colorado Natural Heritage Program records, there are <br />no known Threatened and Endangered species of plants or animals on the <br />property (see Appendix C). <br />37 <br />
