<br />COLORADO HISTORIUL SOCIETY <br />Office of Archaeology end Xistorie Preservation <br />1300 Broadway Denver, Colorado 80203 <br />Ross Bjerke <br />Banks end Gesso, LLC <br />720 Kipling, Suite 117 <br />Lakewood, CO 80215 <br />07/07/1998 <br />At your request, the Office of Archaeology end Historic Preservation has conducted a search of the Colorado <br />Inventory of Cultural Resources for the following lota[lans: <br />PM TNNSXP RANGE SECTIONS: <br />6TH BN 69V 33 <br />2 site<s> were located in the designated area(s). <br />Results of the search are sunmarized in the attached report. <br />If information on sites in the project area was found, detailed information follows the suimary. Sf tw sites or <br />districts were found, but surveys are known to have been conducted in the project area, survey information <br />follows the summary. we do not have complete information on surveys conducted in Colorado, and our site files <br />cannot be considered co~lete because nest of the state has not been surveyed for cultural resources. There is <br />the possi bili[y that as yet unidentified cultural resources exist within the proposed inpact area. <br />Therefore, in the event there is Federal or State involvement, we retommerd that a professional survey be <br />conducted to identify any Cultural resources in the project area wh ieh ere eligible to be listed in the National <br />Register of Historic Places. we look forward to consulting with you regarding the effect of the proposed project <br />on any eligible cultural resource in accordance with the Advisory Council on Historic Preservation Procedures <br />eM the Preservation and Protection of Historic and Cultural Resources (36 CFR 800).
