r~ (13) Both the upstream and downstream embankment will be at lv:2sh. <br />(14} The embankment foundation area will be cl^ared of all organic <br /> material and scarified. The foundation will have no slopes steeper <br /> than lv:lh. <br />(15) Fill material shall be free of sod, large roots, other large vegetative <br /> matter, and no coal processing waste will be used. <br />(16) The fill material shall be placed in 6" horizontal layers and <br /> compacted to 95°6 Modified Procter. <br />(17) <br /> (i) N/A <br /> (ii) N/A <br /> (iii) N/A <br />(18) The pond has been designed under the supervision of a registered <br /> professional engineer. The pond will also be inspected by a person <br /> under the supervision of a registered professional engineer. <br />(19) The entire pond area shall be fertilized, seeded, and mulched <br /> i-rnmediately after construction, using criteria outlined in Sec. <br /> 717.20. <br />(20) All ponds shall be inspected in accordance with the requirements of <br /> 30 CFR 77.216-3. <br />(21) The sedimentation pond shall be removed in compliance with 30 CFR <br /> Sec.'s. 717.14 and 717.20. <br />(22) (i) All the requirements of paragraph (e) of this section have been <br /> complied with. <br />The requirements of 30 CFR, Sec. 717.17 (c) and (d) have also baen adhered to. The <br />channels are temporary diversion structures and have been designed for the 10 year - 24 <br />hour event. The channels have been designed to minimize additional contributions to the <br />streamflow. To insure *_hat there is no additional erosion downstream of the last hydraulic <br />jump energy dissioator, 20 feet of rip-rap protection will be placed along the entire <br />channel divero ng from 35 feet wide immediately downstream of the sill, to 75 feet wide <br />after 25 feet. <br />• <br />
