Box 68
Craig, Colorado 81626
303-824-8246
SEP 36 199

RE: Notice of Intent Application for 1994 Through 1996 Drilling
Program; Cvnrus Empire Corporation
Dear Ms. Pavlik;
Enclosed, please find three copies of the materials pertaining to
the above-referenced notice of intent application. As you will
note, the application form references the accompanying summary text
for the pertinent information, as there is not sufficient room on
the form in several instances.
It is anticipated that the drilling and seismic programs will be
initiated immediately upon approval from BLM and the Division, and
we hope to be able to complete a substantial portion of the
exploration during 1994. The exploration area is immediately
adjacent to CEC's Eagle No. 5 and No. 6 mines, and are located
within and adjacent to the pending Bell Rock Tract lease
application.
CEC is currently in the midst of acquiring right of entry from a
number of the land owners, and we will forward this information as
it becomes available. Due to the size of the program, the number
of landowners, and the duration of the anticipated drilling, CEC is
requesting that the Division entertain the option of stipulating
that the landowner agreement for each hole be forwarded to the
Division prior to the drilling for that specific hole. This will
alleviate the potential of having the agreement for a hole planned
for 1995/1996 delay the process for the more immediate holes
planned for fall 1994.
It is anticipated that some eight holes will be drilled this fall,
with the remaining holes being drilled in 1995 and 1996. It is
anticipated that some four to five holes will be twinned and
completed as hydrologic monitoring wells for inclusion to the
existing hydromonitoring network. Upon completion, these wells
will be incorporated into CEC's permit.
