41 All fees collected under this Rule shall be deposited in the eeneral fund. <br />RESPONSE <br />A fee of two thousand five hundred dollars (b2,500.00) was submitted as the permit fee required under this Section <br />with the permit revision application. <br />Approximately 3,200 surface acres have been affected (i.e. overlie longwal] mined or mining areas) by mining and <br />related activities. This includes those areas included within original permit, Southwest Mining District, and the <br />initial panels in the Eastem Mining District. For the remainder of the Eastern Mining District (Panels 2-Right <br />through 6-Right) and the Northern Mining District (Panels 12-Right through 22-Right (partial)) a total of <br />approximately 5,900 acres will be affected. The total affected area for areas previously mined and proposed io be <br />mined, under the currently approved mine plan is 9,100 acres. The total of Life-of--Mine permit boundary <br />encompasses approximately 21,720 acres (reduced by 1,320 acres by TROS-51), as shown on Maps 1 and 2. The <br />total disturbance area is approximately 490 acres (refer to 2005 Annual Reclamation Report). <br />NORTHERN MINING DISTRICT (Panels 12-Right to 23-Right) <br />The Northern Mining District (Panels 12-Right through 22-Right (partial)) added approximately 4,400 acres to the <br />affected acreage category (Map 23).
