'" <br />Wildlife Species list: <br />Mule_Deer- ------ ------ ----- - - <br />Red-tailed hawk <br />Great horned owl <br />Cottontail rabbi[ <br />Endzngered/critical species/impacted: <br />.There may be slight impact on mule deer if there is any activity at the pit site during <br />winter months. <br />Critical habitats/vegetative communities impacted: <br />Some mountain mahogany and pinyon-juniper will be disturbed. <br />Essessment of impact: <br />Very minimal <br />~~~~~ki~~1~'~l;.~ <br />JUN 1. g 1985 <br />RECLAMIA ION D DISION <br />Yine Reclamation recommendations (include key species/habitats for which restoration <br />is designed). <br />Iop soil should be removed and stockpiled for use in reclamation. Final slopes must not <br />exceed 3:1. Cover all disturbed areas with topsoil and reseed with native grass forb <br />and shrub species. Cocl season grasses will improve this area for mule deer winter range. <br />Shrub species must include mountain mahogany.
