• -ls-
Sadler: Excuse me just a second, let me just explain that I have not in fact
tried to sue any previous operator for any structural damage to my
pr~~perty. I have accepted that, you know, I'm not questioning whether
or not that is in there. I'm saying that I didn't understand why a
bunch of drywall cracks kere being caused in my house until I got the
rule and the law, and- all of a sudden it said something about if
there was a permanent man-made structure, if there was an, damage,
then I suspected that maybe that was the case. I do have an old house,
and the windows, in fact, when the crusher was olerating, were shaking.
You know, I could hear the windows shaking in my house. So whether
or not there's vibration 60 feet, 120 feet...
Shelton: I just want to know whether you really tlidught that the cracks in
your house...
Sadler: No, and I haven't sued him, and I don't intend to originally bring
legal suit against him.
Turner: Th.e affected land is in part of the mine.
Shelton: Right.
Turner:
Sadler
If your crusl~cr is off on one edge...
Doesn't matter if your crusher is five miles away, if the affected
land... at•least the way I read the law.
