The factor of safety of this slope was found to equal 1.67, as shown on Figure 5 and <br />is an adequate comparison to the previous factor of safety of 1.68. <br />3.3 Relation to Main Landslide <br />Previous mapping and analysis has determined that the western limit of the main landslide at the <br />West Elk Mine is between the first and second stack tubes. The R.O.M. pad expansion evaluated <br />in this report is outside the limits of the main landslide, and the stability of this area can be <br />considered independent of other slide movement.
