The surveyed areas include the
locations of proposed shaft pads and their associated access road corridors.
` Wetlands were identified either within or in close proximity to the projected disturbance
~r azeas at both project locations. For the bleeder shaft in Section 11, wetlands within the
project azea aze located along the eastern edge of the access road at its starting point.
Wetlands were also identified in the vicinity of the proposed shaft pad. Aside from these
areas the project is located entirely within upland plant communities. At the intake shaft
site in Section 17, wetlands are coned to an aiea within an intermittent drainage
located within the footprint of the proposed shaft pad.
Enclosed is a draft copy of a wetland delineation report and map containing a detailed
description of the wetland communities present on each proposed site. Our current scope
of work does not include preparing a final report for submittal to the US Army Corps of
Engineers (COE). Please note that this draft report is incomplete in terms of containing
all of the information required to meet the minimum standards for wetland delineation
reports submitted to the Sacramento District of the COE. The scope of this project is to
provide you with baseline data and information to proceed with the planning process and
fanalize disturbance boundaries.
This draft report contains a synopsis of the field work and all of the field data and forms
required to complete the report for submittal to the COE. Completing the COE report
will require incorporating aspects of the soil report, as well as information on property
ownership. A detailed map of the delineated wetlands been produced to accompany the
- I4 Inverness t7rive East, Suite G-Z28, Englewood, CO 80122
