Nez:
' Apparently some confusion has arisen concerning the official
stand of the Douglas County Board of Commissioners in regard
to the Ute liine at Sedalia. The nuestion seems to be if
' Robinson Bric!: and Tile is operating the mine in accordance
~•:ith Douglas County zoning resolutions. The Aoard of Douglas
County Commissioners on August iG, 1075 determined that no
' official action by the Poard vas necessary as the mine c•:as
a nre-existing noel-conforming use and thereby authorized
by Section 2~ X:; of ,the Douglas Coun~y 'oning Pesolutions.
' The note I signed on November ;, 1975 Nas intended to inform
you that the corimissioners felt no formal action lras necessary
because of the above stated reasons. I bone this clarifies
any misunderstanding that i^.irilt of been presented by my signing
that note.
' Sincerely,
~~lQ C~~_1~,.
' ~ Carl A. i4in!:ler
Commissioner
CAS'; /mss ~~~~~ ~~' r~d
' cc: State Eline Reclamation Board ~EC 7 19)8
' B.T. !.fart in, Lsn.
S~LMORE r• MAC; i ;11
LAW OFFICES
43
