RECF'' =®
APR 1 8 ZU06
I•
RECLAMATION PLAN
Division of Minerals and Geology
EXHIBIT E
n
L.~
1. General Reclamation Plan
The pre-mining site is a sparse dry rangeland with poor soil that could only be used for minor
wildlife habitat. The post-mining plan restores the flatter azeas (a major portion) of the site to
irrigated hay, therefore, it could be said that after mining and reclamation, the site will be improved.
The table below shows the reclamation azeas for the site.
Disturbed Area Acreage Topsoil Placed Overburden Post-Mining Use
Placed
S. At this time, the following work will be needed to complete the reclamation
once the mine facilities are removed:
1) 1.95 acres of ponds, ditches and the access road to Strip 4 will need regrading.
2) The same 1.95 acres will need backfilling with 9" of soil.
3) 7.0 acres of flat azea will need overburden (substitute soil) placement and discing.
Bellgardt Pit 1/06
23
