While the pit is <br />located within mapped deer winter range, the vegetation on the site is sparse and of limited value. Post <br />mining reclamation and conversion to irrigated agriculture should actually increase the value of the site <br />to wintering big game. <br />If implemented as proposed, we do not foresee any undue impacts to the wildlife resource.
