Blue Flax can be extremely aggressive in certain situations. Planting too many seeds <br />creates undesirable competition and can be <br />detrimental to the establishment of the grasses. <br />If a native seed mix is used, a seeding rate of <br />4:8 pure live seed Ibslacre should be used for <br />drill seeding. If the proposed non-native seed <br />mix is used, a rate of 15 to 16 Ibslacre is <br />recommended. However, the Town does not <br />support use of the non-native seed mix.
