The following information <br />and comnments are addressed in the same order as your adequacy review. <br />1) Attached is a plan for the construction of groundwater collection trenches and recharge <br />ponds. This plan has been reviewed with Mr. John Andrew, the water engineer working <br />for Mr. Louis Swift. Mr. Andrew has indicated that the plan is acceptable [o him. ry~ (~ n3 <br />S"S'-p9 <br />2) The applicant will not cause mining disturbances closer to the Box Elder Ditch than 200 <br />feet until a demonstration of the stability of the ditch banks is subnmitted to the Division. <br />Such stability demmonstration in included with the attached slope stability analysis. The o% <br />applicant will not relocate the ditch until tlme plans for such are approved by the ditch <br />company and those plans are submitted to the Division along with proof of the ditch <br />company's approval. <br />3) The applicant will not expose groundwater until a Substitute Water Supply Plan is k <br />approved by the Office of the State Engineer. An application has been submitted to the s <br />OSE For review and approval. Proof of suclm approval will be subnmitted to the Division. <br />4) The fence lines on the property are owned by the property owner. Since Connell has an p/~ <br />option to purchase the property after all permits are received, the fences will belong to <br />Connell during the mining of the property.
