The CNHP letter report is presented as Appendix A of <br />these application materials. <br />The proposed 124`h Estates Sand and Gravel Mine is surrounded by East 124 <br />Avenue (immediately adjacent to the north), by US Hwy 85 (immediately adjacent <br />to the east) and by the Fulton Ditch (immediately adjacent to the west). To the <br />south is agricultural land with some residences. There are historic mine sites, <br />reclaimed for wildlife, recreation, and/or water storage, to the west and <br />northwest. There are some nearby residences to the north of the site along 124`h <br />Avenue and agricultural land further to the north.
