,- RECEIVED DEC 2 3 1002 NOTICE OF FILING APPLICATION Division of Minerals and Geology FOR COLORADO MINED LAND RECLAMATION PERMIT FOR A REGULAR (112) CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS OPERATION NOTICE TO THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS ROUTT COUNTY ELAM CONSTRUCTION, INC. (the °ApplicanUOperator°) has applied for a Regular (112) Operation from the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board (the "Board') to conduct the extraction of construction materials in Routt County. This pit, called the FetcherNale Pit, will replace the existing Fetcher and Vale pits. The attached information is being provided to notify you of the location and nature of the proposed operation. The entire application is on file with the Division of Minerals and Geology (the "Division°) and the Local County Clerk and Recorder The'applicanUoperator proposes to reclaim the affected land to "rangeland". Pursuant to C.R.S. 34-32- 116{7)(j) the Board is required to confer with the local Board of County Commissioners before approving the post-mining land use. Accordingly, thg Board would appreciate your comments on the proposed operation. Please note that, in order to preserve your right of a hearing before the Board on this application, you must submit written comments on the application within ten (10) working days after the application was filed with the Division.
