Due to the fact that a portion of the property has histori- <br />cally been used as flood way, any berming above the existing ground <br />elevation would have an effect of impounding or diverting water onto <br />adjoining properties. <br />We therefore would be agreeable to removing any proposed berm with- <br />in the property that has an elevation that would alter the general <br />elevation of the natural ground. We also agree that no material <br />stockpiles are to be placed on the site within the area defined by <br />the Corps of Engineers, March 1979 report as the Intermediate Regional <br />Floodway. <br />These corrections to the mapping and the specific conditions are to <br />be added to the Special Use Permit maps prior to signing and filing. <br />Respectfully, <br />McRae & Short, Inc. <br />~~?7~i~~ <br />Gerald B.
