Active raptor nests in mining disturbance areas will not be disturbed until after young • <br />have fledged end dispersed from the nest sites. Inactive nest sites will be removed from <br />mihing disturbance areas prior to the next nesting season before disturbance will occur. <br />Nest sites will be relocated to suitable habitat away from mining activities. Several <br />potential sites were located away from mining activities that were not occupied (see Tab <br />17). Nest site relocations will be accomplished by qualified biologists in consultation <br />with the COOP and FWS. The appropriate permits will be obtained prior to conducting these <br />activities. <br />Reoortina. All monitoring data will be reported to the regulatory authorities within 90 <br />days of the end of each calendar year.
