Box 190, 2727 Grand Avenue <br />Grand Junction, Colorado 81502-0190 <br />(970) 242-0040 • FAX (970) 242-0612 <br />November 27, 1995 <br />Mountain Region Corp. <br />117 29-3/4 Road <br />Grand Junction, CO 81503 <br />Subject: Mountain Region Corp. & Orchard Mesa Aggregates <br />Gravel Pit Permit, south of 117 29-3/4 Road. <br />Dear Ms. DuCray: <br />We have reviewed the subject mining operation with respect to GVP <br />distribution lines. <br />It would appear that the mining operation will not affect the <br />operation or maintenance of the Grand Valley power line. <br />MRC further recognize, that if damage to Grand Valley Power <br />facilities occurs thru the mining or associated activities, the <br />repair/cost of replacement will be MRC's financial <br />responsibility. <br />Furthermore, MRC agrees to maintain a minimum of 10'0" working <br />clearance to any and all power line conductors on the properties. <br />If additional clearance is required to operate more equipment <br />under the lines, MRC shall request clearance to be increased and <br />provide payment accordingly.
